It was a lot of fun to be a part of Alex and Colleen’s wedding. We started off at St. Andrew’s Church in Norwood, which is a beautiful Catholic church with soaring ceilings. Their family and friends packed the church, and it was great to see so much support for their marriage. Alex and Colleen have been together for many years now, and I could tell that their families have connected through their love for each other.
After the ceremony and formal photographs we headed up to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino for the big party. . .err. . . reception. Alex is a hockey coach and Colleen is an athlete as well, so I knew it would be a fun time and they did not disappoint. I do think this wedding gets the award for the most hockey players I have seen all in one room.
